If you’re one of those people who plan your life several months ahead and you already know you’re going to be in Helsinki on April 4th 2018, I have a tip for you! Put that date down as the day when you’re going to see Godspeed You! Black Emperor at The Circus.
Why? Well, because it’s Godspeed You! Black Emperor that’s why. The Canadian group that since their inception in 1994 have carved out their own musical path, circumventing post-rock categories all the while serving as the genres foremost trailblazers.
The band has visited Helsinki two times before, in 2011 and 2013. The upcoming show is part of a European tour in support of their recently released album, Luciferian Towers, the follow-up to 2015’s Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress.
