Made In Sheffield.is a 120min long documentary focusing on Sheffield’s blooming electronic music scene in the late 70’s and early 80’s. It shows you how many doors punk has opened. Punk has always served as a catalyst in the collective consciousness among people who wanted to expand their social space. The best music scenes have been born out of this endeavor, then picked up by the mainstream and had its spirit broken. Many Sheffield-bands faced the same fate. While this scene produced a few groups that went on to achieve success in a larger scale, many of the Sheffield-bands were short lived. Despite this the still they had time to carve their place in history, by creating a whole new approach to music.
